City Council Recap: May 23, 2022


Here’s a look at some of the City Council actions from the May 23, 2022 meeting:

  • Approved purchase of replacement traffic signal control cabinet at West 78th Street and Kerber Boulevard.
  • Approved temporary modification of the licensed premises to serve on-sale intoxicating liquor in the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre's parking lot.
  • Approved advance resignation policy.
  • Waived municipal consent process for MnDOT's 2023 TH 41 resurfacing project.
  • Authorized entering into an agreement and easement with Oak Hill Homeowners Association for the maintenance of Nicholas Way.
  • Approved permit for the fireworks display at Lake Ann Park on July 4, 2022.
  • Chief Johnson gave a fire department update.
  • Lieutenant Pearce gave a law enforcement update.
  • Accepted bids and awarded the contract for the Lake Lucy Road Rehabilitation project.
  • Adopted Chanhassen public tree policy.
  • Approved update to Emerald Ash Borer management plan. 
  • Received a Minnetonka Middle School West roundabout update.
