The Chanhassen Yard Waste Site is open for the season and is now available for residents two days a week - on Mondays & Fridays. The site is now located at Chanhassen Public Works, 7901 Park Place.
Residents may dispose of items such as spring lawn rakings, leaves, grass, brush, and wood of any diameter for a small fee. Materials not accepted include lumber, sod, soil, and plastic bags.
Residents dropping off yard waste must check-in at the Public Works office and show proof of residency before unloading their materials. While plastic bags are not accepted, yard waste can be transported in plastic bags as long as they are emptied and the plastic bags are taken home or properly disposed of off-site. Residents are encouraged to use paper yard waste bags for easy unloading.
