The presidential primary election was held on March 3. Results are published by the Minnesota Secretary of State

Precinct Caucuses

Precinct caucuses were held on Tuesday, February 25. They are the first in a series of meetings where parties may endorse candidates, select delegates, and set party platform.

Candidate Filings

Filings for two city council seats is open July 28-August 11. More information can be found HERE.

Primary Election

Primary Election Day is August 11. A primary election determines which candidates will be on the ballot in the November general election, except for the office of the Presidents of the United States, which has a separate primary election date. Early voting beings June 26.

General Election

General Election Day is November 3. Early voting begins September 18.

Absentee/Early Voting

Not around the day of voting or not feeling up to heading to the polls on election day? You can vote absentee and receive your ballot in the mail by requesting the information on the Secretary of State website.
