Scam Prevention and Awareness
The National Council on Aging reports that financial scams targeting seniors (65 and older) have become so prevalent they are considered “the “perfect” crime of the 21st century.” Why? Because seniors – who may have a lot of assets - are thought to be easy targets. And, the crooks know their scams often go unreported and can be difficult to prosecute.  Detective Deputy Joe DeRosier, from the Carver County Sherriff’s Office, is passionate about preventing scams and protecting the seniors they target. You will hear about common scams and tactics, what you can do to prevent being scammed, and where to find help if you are unwittingly scammed.

The author cared for his mother, who had Alzheimer's for eight and a half years. Rick will help you focus on what matters, so you too can walk this journey and come out with more gifts than losses.
