Lil' Star Soccer - Session 22020-10-07T18:00:00It’s time for some running and kicking fun! Join our team to learn the sport of soccer. Each week, we use fun games to teach soccer skills, build self-confidence, and learn sportsmanship. Ages 5 - 6. All participants will receive a Chan Rec Center Sports t-shirt, along with a medal and certificate the final day. As the weather changes, we will use the Rec Center Gym as an indoor facility. Registration is limited to meet Minnesota Department of Health Youth Sports Guidelines. Registration deadline is Thursday, Oct. 1.

Kwon Do is a Korean martial art that will give your body, mind, and
spirit a workout. Our classes combine a great aerobic workout with practical self-defense, all while sharing the rich cultural history Tae Kwon Do has to offer. As part of the American Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do Association, we have a strong focus on proper technique and ensuring our students earn each rank they obtain. Our nationally certified instructors include 8th degree Grand Master Jeff
Engel and 5th degree Jr. Masters Terry Dahl, Taylor Pederson and Jenny Doan. This course is for participants of all skill levels. Beginners should wear loose-fitting clothes (no jeans) to class. Ages 15+. Registration Deadline: Thursday, Sept. 24.

This traditional Korean martial art teaches self-confidence, discipline, self-defense, and respect for others. It is a challenging and fun way to improve endurance, flexibility, and coordination. What you learn here will help you out in all other sports and school and work. This class is geared for both beginners and those students who are continuing their training. Nationally certified instructors teach classes. White belts who have completed Jr. Orientation 2 and yellow belts. Ages 6 - 15 (Students must be in or have completed Kindergarten).
