2021 City Pavement Rehab Update
Lake Lucy Road Area, Redwing Lane Area and Choctaw Circle Area: These three project areas will be wrapping up with remaining punch list items being completed as needed.
Trapper Pass Phase 1: The contractor has finished the reclaiming work in phase 1. Repairs to irrigation systems are underway. The crews will continue with removal of excess gravel, grading and re-compaction work throughout the area in preparation for paving the base course. Adjusting manhole castings and gate valves, in addition to restoration work will follow, prior to paving the final asphalt wear course. With rain expected the next two days the asphalt base layer paving could be pushed back to September 7th and 8th.
Trapper Pass Phase 2: The utility crews have finished up the majority of the utility related efforts in the area. Curb removal will be occurring the rest of this week and into next week as weather permits. Later next week curb replacement will begin and reclaiming is tentatively scheduled to begin September 7th.
Marsh Drive Area: Construction in the Marsh Drive area is getting underway today. Utility crews will begin with work on the water main, storm sewer and drain tile. The Discovery United Methodist Church, located at 275 Lake Drive East, has graciously offered to allow parking in their lot for those needing a place to park during road construction in the Marsh Drive area.
