  1. Chanhassen Paper Shredding Event

    May 22, 2021, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Public Works

    The City of Chanhassen is sponsoring a document shredding event on Saturday, May 22, at the Chanhassen Public Works facility. Participants can bring up to 4 bags or boxes of paper documents to be shredded on site as you wait. Only paper is accepted – NO cardboard, 3-ring binders, or plastic materials (DVDs, CDs, floppy disks, flash drives, etc.). You must be able to lift/carry each bag or box. Please wear a face mask. This FREE event is open to the public. The event runs until noon or until the truck is full, whichever comes first.

  2. Memorial Day Ceremony

    May 31, 2021, 7:45 AM - 12:45 PM @ City Center Park

    Chanhassen American Legion Post 580 has announced plans to continue traditional Memorial Day cemetery services in addition to holding a ceremony at the Veterans Monument in City Center Park (in front of city hall). The cemetery services begin at 7:45am at the Leach Cemetery and continue with visits to the Chanhassen Pioneer Cemetery at 8:15am and St. Hubert’s Cemetery at 10:15am. At 12noon, the Legion will assemble at the Veterans Monument in City Center Park to conduct the Memorial Day Ceremony. The event will last approximately 30 mins. More details will be in the Chanhassen Villager as they are confirmed.
