Carver County Parks will be providing kick sleds for participants to try out! A kick sled is the sled part of a dog sled with a seat in front and a place to stand behind. The person behind is the kicker and propels the sled forward. This is a great winter activity for individuals or pairs! Click HERE to check out Carver County Parks.
Michael’s Cycles will be providing free fat tire bike demos. Fat tire bikes are the ultimate way to get around in the winter. Make sure to stop by and take the bikes out for a test ride around the lake. Click HERE to check out Michael's Cycles.
The Arctic Open ice golf course is set up to serve a dual purpose of raising money and awareness of suburban poverty with proceeds going to PROP, as well as a fun family activity to tie into the February Festival. The course will consist of five short holes that will be set up on Lake Ann. The event will be free of cost but will be taking freewill donations. All equipment will be provided to participants and will include: tennis balls and the tool of choice to hit the ball (putters, irons, hockey sticks, etc). This uniquely Minnesotan event is fun for all ages and skill levels with no previous experience needed! This event is hosted by the REACH campaign of the Chanhassen High School DECA Chapter.
Boy Scout Troop #330 will be on the ice again this year selling live bait and s’mores kits for the bonfire. Make sure to stop by and purchase a tasty treat for you or the fish!
The Rotary Club of Chanhassen will be selling beverages to warm you up, whether you’re a kid or an adult! They have also coordinated with a food vendor that will be serving burgers, fries, and a fan favorite – cheese curds! Rotary Club of Chanhassen members volunteer their time to not only serve beverages, but also with drilling all the holes for the event! Interested in joining the Rotary Club? They are always looking for members who are dedicated to serving others. For more information check out their website HERE.
