While excavating for a water valve repair yesterday afternoon, we had a watermain break on the main feed line from the Lake Lucy Ground Storage Reservoir located at Powers Blvd and Lake Lucy Rd.  This resulted in a short term water outage for a limited number of residents but also decreased pressure for a larger area.  All residents were back in service around 6PM last night, but the overall water system may be operating under lower pressure until the break is repaired.  If you have very low water pressure, please contact the Utility Dept. at 952-227-1300.  If you have brown colored water, just run a faucet for 10 minutes or so until it clears up.  There may be short term closures of Lake Lucy Road east of Powers Blvd while the repair is being made.  Sorry for any inconvenience.
