2021 City Pavement Rehabilitation Project
October 14, 2021
Kurvers Point Road Area: Paving of the base course will begin this afternoon around 12:30pm, tentatively and continue into tomorrow. We are working with the school bus company to minimize any impacts this may have on bus routes. Parents meeting the bus, please keep vehicles out of the way of paving equipment. Contractors are tentatively scheduled to finish concrete work on Friday. Next week, contractors will be doing some patching and driveways, backfilling with top soil and seeding, and adjusting the manhole castings and gate valves in preparation for the wear course paving, which is tentatively scheduled for October 29th.
Marsh Drive Area: Contractors will be adjusting manhole castings and gate valves, along with other prep work next week. Paving is tentatively scheduled for October 27 and 28th.
Trapper Pass Phase 1: Irrigation & invisible fence repairs, landscaping & restoration, and punch list work will be taking place over the next few weeks.
Trapper Pass Phase 2: Adjustments to manhole castings and gate valves in the street will be taking place today and into next week in preparation for paving the wear course which is tentatively scheduled for October 19th and 20th. In the Timber Hill area, grading will be occurring on Monday, followed by base course paving on Wednesday of next week. Wear course paving of Timber Hill is tentatively scheduled for October 29th. Irrigation and Invisible fence repairs, landscaping, restoration, and punch list work will be taking place over the next few weeks.
Lake Lucy Road Area, Redwing Lane Area and Choctaw Circle Area: Inlet protection has been taken out in some areas and will continue to be removed over the next few weeks.
