2017 Street Rehabilitation Project (Lake Susan Hills area)


The City is proposing to rehabilitate approximately 2 miles of streets as identified by it's Pavement Management software, site investigations and reported utility problems. This year's project includes several streets located in the Lake Susan Hills area.

Project Updates

July 20, 2017

- The first layer of asphalt paving in Phase 1 is complete and will be followed up with a second layer after Phase 2 is paved. This week in Phase 2, crews have been reclaiming (grinding up) the old pavement. Storm sewer and water main work will be taking place this week and next week as well as curb removals and replacements.

July 5, 2017

- Bituminous base course paving to begin as early as Friday, July 7 followed by draintile installation in Phase 1. Curb removals, pavement reclaiming and utility work to begin the week of July 17 in Phase 2.
